Prime Minister Vejjajiva Abhisit

Abhisit Vejjajiva is a Thai politician who served as the 37th Prime Minister of Thailand from 2008 to 2011. From 2005 until 2016, Vejjajiva served as the leader of Thailand's Democrat Party. Prior to entering politics, Vejjajiva was a Special Lecturer in Economics at Oxford University. He is also a former university lecturer at Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy and Thammasat University. In 2009 Vejjajiva served as the ASEAN chair.
