Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki

Nouri al-Maliki is an Iraqi politician who served as Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq from May 2006 until September 2014. He served as one of three Vice Presidents from September 2014 until August 2015, and again from October 2016 - October 2018. During his term as Prime Minister al-Maliki also held the titles of minister of defense, interior, and national security. Al-Maliki has been the leader of the Islamic Dawa Party, an Iraqi political party, since 2007.
