Manuel Fraga Iribarne was a Spanish politician, who was also the founder of the People's Party. Fraga served a number of high-profile positions over the course of his career, notably, information and tourism minister during Francisco Franco's dictatorship and President of the Regional Government of Galicia from 1990 to 2005. He served as a member of the Senate from February 7, 2006 to September 27, 2011.
