Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud was the King of Saudi Arabia and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques from August 1, 2005 until January 23, 2015. King Abdullah maintained close ties with the United States and the United Kingdom during his reign and increased women's rights througout the country.
