Günther Oettinger

Günther Oettinger is a German lawyer and politician who served as the Minister-President of Baden-Württemberg, Germany from 2005 until 2010. He went on to become a council member of the European Commission, the leading body of the European Union, serving first as the European Commissioner for Energy from 2010 until 2014 and then as the European Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society from 2014 until 2017.
