Physical DescriptionPhysical DescriptionRed, white, and blue quilt with a blue tinsel border. The center of the top of the quilt has "Sasha" spelled out in light blue patchwork over a navy blue and white polka dot blob. A patterned fabric depicting patriotic motifs of stars, stripes, flags, and fireworks comprise the majority of the top of the blanket with patchwork hearts throughout. The bottom of the quilt has a red, white, and blue peace sign pattern framed by light blue fleece panels on the long sides. Circular floret embellishments decorate the bottom each with button center with additional applique hearts throughout.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to Sasha Obama during the Obama Administration.
