Physical DescriptionImperial Porcelain Factory tea set consisting of the following a teapot with lid, a waste bowl, a sugar bowl with lid, a cream pitcher; six teacups, six saucers, and six dessert plates. Each piece is blue and white with gold trip depicting various types of ships and ocean vessels on water.

Historical NoteReceived by the President and First Lady on an official visit to Russia in July 2009.Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
