Physical DescriptionHand painted terracotta ceramic piggy bank painted white with flags of various countries throughout the body. The face is adorned with faux pearls for the eyes and in the mouth as teeth. The hind end of the pig is adorned with red, white, blue, and clear stars. On the back is an inscription in black with a US flag below wrapped in a ribbon inscribed with Barack Obama in red.

Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to First Lady Michelle Obama during the Obama Administration.
