Physical DescriptionFrosted glass perfume bottle removable top in the shape of an iris. The iris is purple with green leaves. The base is a rectangular prism with wavy incised lines.
Historical NoteA gift from Nicolas Sarkozy, President of France, to First Lady Michelle Obama during a diplomatic visit to Strasbourg, France in April 2009 for the NATO summit.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to First Lady Michelle Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
