Physical Description
Physical DescriptionSalmon pink and teal two-piece sari ensemble composed of one long cloth (.a) and one short cloth (.b). Both pieces have a floral embroidered trim in cream, yellow, and red. On the shorter cloth the teal is only along the short finished edges. The larger cloth has teal trim along all edges and an aditional pink and gold embroidered floral pattern throughout the first section of the pink center.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Barack Obama during the Obama administration. It was received through the Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
