Physical DescriptionTwo black twill jackets with an image of President Obama on the left chest inscribed with "44th President of the United States Jan 20, 2009" around it. Embroidered on the right chest in white is"President Obama, Yes We Can." Embroidered on the reverse is the same image of President Obama with "Obama" in large white letters abover it. Below is embroidered "We Made History Nov 04, 2008." Two American flags are on each side of the portrait along with an eagle at the bottom. Embroidered on the left arm is "Change" over "44," and on the right arm "Obama" with the Presidential Seal underneath.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThese items were gifts from a member of the general public to President Barack Obama during the Obama administration. They were received through the Office of the President and maintained there until their transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
