Physical DescriptionA nine-panel painting that depicts three turkeys in front of the dome of the U.S. Capitol Building. The left side of the painting is yellow and orange, depicting a sunrise. The right side of the painting is blue with a moon. Both sides of the painting have dark branched trees with abstract depictions of people forming the trunk and tree limbs.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThese items were gifts from a foreign official to President Barack Obama during the Obama administration. They were received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until their transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
