Physical DescriptionTwo light and navy blue University of North Carolina field hockey sticks. Painted on blue on the exterior of the stick is, the UNC logo, and the dates of other championship seasons. The interior of the sticks has the brand name, Harrow, and the UNC logo. The grip of the sticks is a white wrapped padded rubber with the brand name. The brand logo is on the exterior of the toe.
Historical NoteReceived on the occasion of a reception at the White House to honor NCAA Championship athletes and teams on September 13, 2010.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThese items were gifts from a member of the general public to President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama during the Obama Administration. They were received through the Office of the President and maintained there until their transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
