Physical DescriptionThree light blue t-shirts with three white stripes along the upper shoulders. Printed on the obverse is the Adidas logo and the German Football Association logo comprised of three interlocking triangles surrounded by a circle. Printed on the reverse is the Germany 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup Logo which is an abstract depiction of a soccer field above lines of black, red, and yellow, the colors of the German flag.
Historical NoteReceived on the occasion of a working visit to the White House by German Chancellor Angela Merkel on June 26, 2009.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThese items were gifts from a foreign official to the First Family during the Obama Administration. They were received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until their transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
