Physical DescriptionTwo Roots-brand soft brown leather backpacks with "Muskoka 2010 G8 Canada" in red and white text next to a tree embroidered on the front. Two zipper pockets on the front, a snap pocket on one side, metal key ring on the other side, and two back straps with adjustable buckle. The interior has two small black pockets.Historical NoteReceived to mark the occasion of the 2010 G8 Summit hosted in Toronto, Canada.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThese items were gifts from a foreign official to Malia and Sasha Obama during the Obama Administration. They were received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until their transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
