Physical DescriptionTwo wristwatches featuring a red textured leather strap with a silver-toned metal trim around the face and a series of inlaid clear gemstones at the top and bottom. Engraved on the left and right of the trim is the phrase "Time for Peace." The watch face is designed to look like a peace sign with a red enamel stripe down the center and two shorter angled stripes at the bottom. The circle of the watch face creates the circle of the peace symbol. The numbers on the watch face are marked with silver-toned dots except for the 12, 3, 6, and 9 which are in Arabic numerals. The dial on the right side of the watch face has a small engraved peace symbol.Custodial History / ProvenanceThese items were gifts from a member of the general public to Malia and Sasha Obama during the Obama Administration.
