Physical DescriptionTwo decorative ceramic plates with edges that curve up slightly and a central design embroidered through the surface depicting a black iris flower. The bottom of plates is green leather.
Historical NoteReceived on the occasion of a working visit to the White House by King Abdullah II Bin Al Hussein and Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan on April 21, 2009.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThese items were gifts from a foreign official to First Lady Michelle Obama during the Obama Administration. They were received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until their transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
