Physical DescriptionTwo hardcover commemorative editions of "Don Quijote" by Cervantes that was published on the 400th anniversary of his death. The books are contained in red hard plastic slip cover with gold coat of arms of the King of Spain on the right side. The cover of the books is primarily white and depicts an abstract face.
Historical NoteReceived on the occasion of an official working visit to the White House of Their Majesties King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain in September 2015.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThese items were gifts from a foreign official to First Lady Michelle Obama during the Obama Administration. They were received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until their transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
