Physical DescriptionThree sets of ten colored pencils with "10 Downing Street" and "This pencil is made from FSC Certified Well Managed Timber" printed on the side. The pencils are sharpened and the barrels are the color of natural wood.Historical NoteReceived during vacation in London by First Lady Michelle Obama and first daughters in June, 2009.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThese items were gifts from a foreign official to Malia and Sasha Obama during the Obama Administration. They were received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until their transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
