Physical DescriptionBlue, white, and pink ceramic beaded jewelry set with faux pearl and red stone detailing. The set is composed of a necklace (.a) and matching earrings (.b-c). The necklace has a center pink heart shaped ceramic beads and four heart ceramic beads on the sides. The four side beads are white with painted blue moon and star designs. Beaded along the necklace are white faux-pearl beads with red stone and blue glass spacer beads. The matching hook back earrings have a chain of faux-pearl beads and a hanging ceramic heart-shaped bead painted with the blue moon and star design.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to First Lady Michelle Obama during the Obama administration. It was received through the Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
