Physical DescriptionBeach towel depicting a surfer riding a wave. The wave is blue, black, and green with the surfer in red. Along the top in gray it reads, "Later he could be seen in the beach parking lot, behind his van, a towel wrapped around his middle, changing out of his wet summer suit."
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to the First Family during the Obama administration. It was received through the Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
