Physical DescriptionPhotographic print depicting a portrait of President Abraham Lincoln in black and white on one side and colorized on the other. In the colorized version, he wears a bow tie and brown suit. There is pink text of a letter from the gifter printed between the images.
Inscriptions and MarkingsPrinted text on obverse: Dear Mr. President, Please find attached here "Portrait of the President Lincoln for his 200th birth -day", as my present. I made this picture last May during my journey in the U.S. I hope you love it. God bless America. He Tian China February 12, 2009 Printed in lower right of obverse: Copyright 1900 By M. P. Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Barack Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
