Physical DescriptionReplica magic wand in the shape of the one used by the character Corban Yaxley in the Harry Potter series, designed to appear wooden. Wand has a flat tip and smooth staff with three carved rings, with a carved hexagonal section above the grip, another set of carved rings above the knob at the base.Historical NoteGift was given by J.K. Rowling during Sasha's birthday visit to the Harry Potter movie set, after being invited by Daniel Radcliffe in 2009.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to Malia and Sasha Obama during the Obama Administration.
