Physical DescriptionReplica magic wand of the one used by the character Cho Chang in the Harry Potter movies, designed to appear wooden. Wand is a dark brown color with spots of darker shading, a curved spiral at the top of the shaft, carved notches down the center of the staff and a smooth, slightly spiraled, grip.Historical NoteGift was given by J.K. Rowling during Sasha's birthday visit to the Harry Potter movie set, after being invited by Daniel Radcliffe in 2009.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to Malia and Sasha Obama during the Obama Administration.
