Physical DescriptionPainting # 12 on canvas in a blue wooden frame. Theme of "The First 100 Days." The painting is primarily gray with red, white and blue abstract stripes of paint on the left and right sides stretching from top to bottom. Across the top is, "FIRST 100 DAYS" in white with multi-colored sand adhered to it. A number twelve is at the bottom center of the painting with sand affixed to it.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Barack Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
