Hi Sasha!
Greetings from my little country of Singapore! Singapore may be a very small country. But God has blessed us tremendously with very wise and caring leaders, like your dad.
You and Malia must be getting very excited by the day as your dad will very soon be inaugurated as President Barack Hussein Obama. Praise be to God
!
I've a feeling that he will become a very great American President - perhaps the greatest* American president of all time! He's the answer God gave for the prayers of many Americans and you!
Children love interesting stories. Here in this book, "Miracles", are true stories of how God is still busy doing wonderful miracles for people who have faith in Him, and who need them.
Pastor Rony Tan's life itself was a miracle. He was a staunch Taoist, and was deep in depression and into spiritualism before his conversion to Christ. He then started a church with 9 members only in the 1980s. Since then, his church, Lighthouse Evangelism, has grown into a 12,000 plus congregation. But if he had succeeded to kill his friend during his terrible bout of depression, and if he did not give his heart to Jesus, then this church and this book would never have come into existence.
So when you come to Singapore with your dad, do visit us. Pastor Romy Tan will be very happy to welcome all of you! God bless! Yours-in-Christ, [gifter's signature]
