Physical DescriptionPhysical DescriptionChallenge coin for the Military Order of the Purple Heart with gold-toned metal. Obverse depicts the insignia of the Purple Heart medal surrounded by laurels and two rings of text. All text is metal set in purple enamel. Reverse has a resin-covered graphic in the center depicting a man in military uniform in front of a bunker with mountains the background. Surrounding the bunker are three military insignia, with Marine Corps in the center. Circling the resin image is a ring of text set into purple enamel.
