Physical DescriptionA dark blue apron with embroidered crest at center, and with a pocket on each side of the waist line. There is a fabric tie on each side of the piece, the fabric an extension of the edging along the top half of the apron. At the top is a loop, with an adjustable plastic buckle. The crest at center is comprised of a shield, with an eagle with outstretched wings at top. Along the border of the crest are thirteen stars, with a three lined border on the inside of them. At center are two embroidered C's, one taller and thin, and one more circular. Embroidered into the apron in gold thread, below the crest, is: 100th FIRST LADY"S LUNCHEON 2012.Custodial History / ProvenanceThis item is material associated with various agencies and offices during the Obama administration and maintained as government property until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
