Physical DescriptionSet of eight 1 Troy ounce silver coins (.a-h). The obverse of the coin honors Benjamin Franklin with the image of a hissing rattlesnake coiled in the grass prepared to strike, which he popularized as a symbol of unity during the French and Indian War. Surrounding the snake are the words “DON’T TREAD ON ME” and “ESTABLISHED IN 1754.” The reverse depicts a bald eagle standing above a banner featuring the words “Eternal Vigilance." Inscriptions of “THE PRICE OF LIBERTY” as well as the coins' weight and purity are also displayed along the edges.
