Physical Description
Physical DescriptionA sparkly red hula hoop that is separated into eight segments (.a-h). Each piece has a button connector on one end, and a hole to connect with on the opposite end. Each segment is wrapped in white and teal tape (teal on top of the white tape) in a spiral pattern, with a piece of teal tape wrapped at each end.
Historical NoteUsed by Michelle Obama and Jimmy Fallon during a taping of a segment for The Tonight Show in which the First Lady promoted the "Let's Move!" initiative.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThis item is material associated with various agencies and offices during the Obama administration and maintained as government property until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
