Physical DescriptionAn Indonesian shadow puppet in the image of a female figure, Sri Rama's wife Dewi Shinta. The figure is painted with various colors and patterns in black, purple, gold, and pink and has intricate cutouts and details. Three small carved horn pegs are attached to the arms, which articulate, and to the center of the body.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThis item is material associated with various agencies and offices during the Obama administration and maintained as government property until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
