Physical Description
Physical DescriptionA gold-colored keychain with a circular fob at one end, and a clip closure at the other. The fob has the national crest of the French Republic on both sides. The crest image consists of a fasces in the center with oak and olive branches along each side and a shield in the center. The background of the piece is in blue and the crest image and border are gold. The clip at top is secured by a single swiveling link.
Inscriptions and MarkingsInscribed on obverse, surrounding the emblem: Nicolas SARKOZY Président de la République française
The key chain came in a small blue pouch with the crest of the French Republic printed on it.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThis item is material associated with various agencies and offices during the Obama administration and maintained as government property until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
