Physical DescriptionLarge bauble ornament decorated with papier-mâché images depicting the Capitol Building in Washington, D.C, the Statue of Freedom at the top of the Capitol Dome, and the John Trumbull painting of the signing of the Declaration of Independence that hangs in the Capitol Rotunda. The top of the ornament is adorned gold tulle ribbon, faux tree branches, a pine cone, and a blue ribbon with a girl scout troop number and the word "reflect".
Historical NoteThis Christmas ornament was part of the holiday display for the 2009 White House Blue Room Tree.

Custodial History / ProvenanceThis item is material associated with various agencies and offices during the Obama administration and maintained as government property until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library. Additional Details
