Physical DescriptionA pewter handled letter opener with steel blade. The cast pewter handle is slightly convex, with an oval shaped opening at the end, with a circular finial attached. The blade gradually tapers to a point.Historical NoteThis item was one of fifty letter openers used during the joint session to open the certificates of electoral votes received from each of the fifty states in January 2013.
