Physical DescriptionSilk tie-dyed blue, white, and gray necktie.Historical NoteThe artist wrote a letter to President Barack Obama about her lack of affordable health insurance on December 29, 2009. Her story was shared by the White House to support the efforts of passing the Affordable Care Act. The tie was created by the artist in art therapy at the Cleveland Clinic.
