Physical DescriptionCommemorative one dollar Liberty coin commissioned by the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) non-profit organization. The front is an image of the legs and boots of three veterans. The figure on the far right has only one leg propped up with crutches. The back depicts a forget-me-not flower at the base of a wreath wrapped in a ribbon that cradles and supports clusters of oak branches.Overall - 3D (Coin) H 1/8 in x Diam 1 1/2 in (0.3 cm x 3.8 cm )
Historical NoteThis coin was presented to President Barack Obama by the Disabled American Veterans non-profit organization during a visit to the Oval Office on March 3, 2010.
