Physical DescriptionA brown leather armchair. The legs and arms of the chair are maple wood with a mahogany stain and feature a fluted design on the front legs and arms. The arms are padded with a leather on the top and sides. The leather is secured to the frame with brass rivets along the outmost edges. The leather is buttoned on the seat with nine buttons, and on the back rest with nine buttons.Historical NoteThis item was President Barack Obama's chair from Roosevelt Room of the White House.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThis item is material associated with various agencies and offices during the Obama administration and maintained as government property until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
