Physical DescriptionGlass honey jar with round sides and thin body created to hold honey gathered at the White House (.a), with a matching dipper that doubles as the cap (.b).
Historical NoteFirst Lady Michelle Obama gifted honey jars, such as this one, and other bee themed items as part of foreign relations during diplomatic events. Often, the gifts contained or included honey from the White House bee hives. This honey vase was designed exclusively for the occasion of the G20 Pittsburgh Summit 2009.
