Physical DescriptionNavy blue, white, and red tracksuit with a jacket (.a) that is white through the entire body, navy blue through the arms and upper chest, a red horizontal stripe across the lower chest, and a red and white stripe running down the outsides of both arms. The pockets have a silver reflective stripe at their openings and a zipper runs down the center of the jacket. The jacket has "United States Davis Cup Team" embroidered in white around a thin American Flag on the left chest, "President Obama" embroidered in white on the right chest, a USA shield logo with a flaming ball embroidered on the right sleeve, and "USA" embroidered on the back.
The pants (.b) are a solid navy blue with a red and white stripe running down both sides of the legs. The pants have "United States Davis Cup Team" embroidered in white around a thin American Flag below the left waist. The cuffs of the pants have zippers that allow them to flare.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Barack Obama during the Obama administration. It was received through the Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
