Physical DescriptionPurple bomber jacket for the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) with black leather sleeves, pocket trim, and collar. Embroidered over the proper left breast in yellow and white is "SIEU for Obama Biden 08" and a purple depiction of the campaign logo. Embroidered over the proper right breast in white is "Barack." Embroidered on the reverse, also in purple, is the SEIU logo.

Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Barack Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
