Physical DescriptionCommemorative tribute sculpture of the President and the First Lady dressed in the clothing they wore to the Second Inaugural Ball in 2013, standing on a round base. To their right is a banner depicting a photograph of the President and the First Lady above a quote, the President's signature and an illustration of the White House. The base has a circular seal that says "President of the United States. The front of the base says " -An American Milestone-; Barack & Michelle Obama."
Inscriptions and MarkingsEngraved on obverse: -An American Milestone- Barack and Michelle Obama Text on bottom: The Bradford Exchange No. A2348 in the limited edition presentation of Barack and Michelle Obama Commemorative Tribute which is produced in a limited-edition to a maximum of 295 casting days, and crafted to the exacting standards of the Bradford Exchange.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Barack Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
