Physical DescriptionPhysical DescriptionWhite House Kitchen garden diorama featuring the First Family, groundskeepers, and other garden attendants in an acrylic enclosure. The interior of the back panel of the case has a photograph of the White House affixed to it. The base of the diorama has a fuzzy green material taped to it, representing grass, and a spongy green material along the back panel representing shrubs. There are five square garden beds, all surrounding a central platform on which are figurines of the First Family and Bo. Each garden has a representation of a variety of fruits and vegetables. Spread throughout the display are small figurines, to include chefs, photographers, gardeners, and groundkeepers. The front panel of the diorama is removable and slides up to access the interior.

Historical NoteReceived from Jean-Luc Colombo, Benjamin and Gilles Bragard, and Ariane Bouron of France. It was displayed in the Let's Move Office in the White House from 2013 to 2016.

It was received through the Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.
