Physical DescriptionSand-colored rug with navy blue, salmon, and red intricate designs throughout. The outermost border of the rug is salmon with a navy blue line running perpendicular to the short end. Sand-colored fringe runs the entirety of both short ends.Historical NoteThis rug was received by then-Senator Barack Obama during his visit in July 2008 to Afghanistan to meet with Afghan President Hamid Karzai.
