Physical DescriptionFramed photographs depicting President Barack Obama and the Chicago White Sox. The large framed center photograph depicts the White Sox team celebrating winning the 2005 World Series and is signed by various players in silver and black ink. Photographs in the bottom corners depict President Obama as a young man. On the right and left sides and top edge are several photographs of President Obama, including him throwing the first pitch at the MLB All-Star White Sox game and with the First Family. At the bottom center are two plaques, on either side of which are cards with the Seal of the President of the United States and the flags of the United States, Canada, Jamaica, and Cuba.Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Barack Obama during the Obama administration. It was received through the Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
