Physical DescriptionWhite Kansas City Royals baseball jersey with buttons down the center and blue and gold detailing. In the center of the obverse is the word "Royals" with a glittery gold filling and blue outline. Beneath the team name is a blue number "44." On the proper left sleeve is the Kansas City Royals logo, a crest with the letters KC inside, and a crown on top. On the proper right sleeve is the World Series 2015 Championship logo with the team name. Embroidered on the reverse in blue is "Obama" with a gold glitter filled "44" beneath.
Historical NoteReceived on the occasion of a ceremony at the White House on July 21, 2016 to honor the 2015 World Series Champion Kansas City Royals.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a member of the general public to President Barack Obama during the Obama Administration.
