Physical DescriptionMolded glass jewelry set composed of red, white, and blue mixed color disc beads. Necklace has a hanging center of stacked beads and earrings are both hook back with dangling stacks of beads. Ends of all the jewelry have small blue bead spacers.
Historical NoteReceived on the occasion of First Lady Michelle Obama's visit to Liberia in June 2016.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to the First Family during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
