Physical DescriptionSquare wooden box with painted lid depicting a pink lotus flower with a metallic sheen. Sides of the box are painted red and interior and bottom are painted black. Adhered inside the lid is a metal plaque with a designer logo.
Historical NoteReceived on the occasion of President Barack Obama's May 2016 trip to Vietnam.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to First Lady Michelle Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
