Physical DescriptionGold-toned key to the city of Buenos Aires(.a) with removable display board and plaque (.b) inside a blue velvet box (.c). The bow of the key has a blue border on the front that reads "Cuidad de Buenos Aires" around an embossed image of the seal of Buenos Aires City, a dove and two boats. The reverse has the word "Argentina" vertically embossed on the bow.

Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to President Barack Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.
