Physical DescriptionCriolla brand White linen long-sleeve shirt dress in the style of a Cuban guayabera shirt. It has a collar, buttons running down the center, and four pockets on the front--two on the bust and two on the hips. There are slits on either side of the skirt closed with a line of buttons.
Historical NoteReceived on the occasion of President Barack Obama's official state visit to Cuba in March 2016.
Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to First Lady Michelle Obama during the Obama Administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
