Physical DescriptionDiamond-shaped glass bottle containing Ron Santiago de Cuba Rum 500 with an additional stopper and a presentation case. The bottle has printed gold text and has a pointed bottom and faceted stopper made from black plastic and cork. The extra stopper is clear glass. The case is black with beveled edges and clear windows. The pedestal for the bottle of rum has three pointed prongs and the interior of the box is matte gold.

Custodial History / ProvenanceThe item was a gift from a foreign official to President Barack Obama during the Obama administration. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives in January 2017 for deposit with the Obama Presidential Library.Additional Details
